Which is your vision for America?

The burgeoning national debt and continuous trillion dollar deficits continue to weaken the US dollar and stifle job growth which is driving gas prices higher and home values lower.

There are two financial visions for America:

· The Republican proposed budget will balance in 20 years and reduce the national debt to GDP ratio from 100% to 10% by 2050 (source CBO). OR

· President Obama’s budget which will never balance in the out years or reduce the national debt by one dime

In his first 3 years in office he added more debt than President Bush did in 8 years.

Just look what his policies have led to in 3 short years:

· Gas in 12/08 $1.69 per gallon source CPI, BLS today at Chevron $4.03

· National Debt 12/08 $10.7 trillion source US Treasury today $15.5 trillion

· Number of jobs 2011 134.4 million source BLS today 131.9 million

· Health insurance average family price $12,680 in 2008 in -2011 $15,073 and rising source Kaiser

· Medium home price 2008 $191,975 ---2011 $169,500 source national assoc. of realtors

Bottom line: Nobody can afford another four years of President Obama!

My County Convention

Here is a media breakdown on how the Pierce County
Delegates came out at the Convention according to
the RED STATE website. My District is 29.
Ron Paul supporters vastly out numbered the other
candidates. I brought 3 delegates for Santorum from
precinct 521 to the convention. We must have voted
around a dozen times to select our delegates and
alternates to the State Convention. Slowly but surely
the Ron Paul supporters weeded out others vote by vote.
Out of the 3 delegates from precinct 521, one goes to
State as a delegate, one goes as an alternate and the
other lost to a Ron Paul slot.

Now about Starbucks. I have always admired this company mainly for their support for the 2nd amendment of our constitution. So, it was discouraging to learn that they do not have the same respect for the 1st amendment. According to a news release, their lawyers are working to destroy Traditional Marriage and the company is promoting the idea of "same sex" unions as the same thing. How sad. We should contact the company and voice our disappointment in them.

"Attorneys for Starbucks have filed a brief in support of repealing the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which protects traditional marriage. The coffee chain also endorsed and supported a bill legalizing homosexual 'marriage' in Washington state, which passed earlier this year."

Make sure you are registered to vote and sign the petitions to put R-74 and I-1192 on the November Ballot. R-74 Reject. I-1192 Yes.

Rally, Register and Repeal...

There was a great "Family Values" rally downtown on Friday at noon and a good number attended.

Good services yesterday in the Lord's House. The morning sermon was on how God's people can be more conformed to the image of Christ in a Biblical Marriage. You may listen to the audio by clicking HERE.

Please browse our church website HERE.

ALSO - Attended the Pierce County GOP Convention in Tacoma on Saturday. I was there from 8AM to 9PM. It was a very large turn out and encouraging to see all the enthusiasm for the removal of the present resident of the white house and his regime. We MUST return to a Constitutionally Limited Government with Fiscal Responsibility. We need to repeal much of the damage done by the usurper and his dirty backroom Chicago style political cronies. Pray for a real turn around in America so that we can get back on track with the original intent of our founders. Pray also for enough signatures on R-74 and I-1192 to keep the definition of marriage in Washington State in tune with what it has been since the sixth day of creation.

Mathmatically Challenged

According to a national TV business news program, President Obama is our most mathematically challenged president. Four examples:

He promised the deficit would be no more than $600 billion after 4 years in office.
In fact it will over $1,200 billion this year.

He said President Bush was unpatriotic for increasing the national debt $4 trillion in 8 years.
In fact he raised the national debt over $5 trillion in 4 years and is on track for $9.6 trillion in 8 years, an almost doubling of our national debt that was accrued in past 200 years.

He is claiming that he is drilling more and producing more oil than ever.
In fact he is responsible for drilling on federal land only. Only 4% of new oil production comes from federal lands, the other 96% comes from privately owned land.

He plans to tax the rich even more, the so called Buffet tax, in order to reduce our $1,200 billion annual deficit.
In fact it would bring in only $4 billion a year, enough to pay 4 days of interest on our national debt.

Bottom line: any numbers suggested or bragged about by this administration should be severely questioned given their mathematically challenged track record.

The Senator

Good worship services yesterday at TLBC in Tacoma. CLICK HERE to see the latest news, and outlines of the sermons and audio links to listen...
=====

While walking down the street one day a Corrupt Senator (that may be redundant) was tragically hit by a car and died.

His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

"Welcome to heaven," says St.. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in," says the Senator.

"Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from the higher ups. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity."

"Really?, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven," says the Senator.

"I'm sorry, but we have our rules."

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.

The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course.

In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people.

They played a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and the finest champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who is having a good time dancing and telling jokes.

They are all having such a good time that before the Senator realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises.

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens in heaven where

St. Peter is waiting for him, "Now it's time to visit heaven...

So, 24 hours passed with the Senator joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

"Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity."

The Senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: "Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell."

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell...

Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage.

He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls to the ground.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulders.

"I don't understand," stammers the Senator. "Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?"

The devil smiles at him and says,

"Yesterday we were campaigning,Today, you voted.."

There have been 4 incumbent presidents that were defeated in the last 100 years.

What is the common denominator?

They did not keep their signature campaign promise.

Well , Obama’s signature promises were.

I will cut the deficit in half in four years.

I am a ‘uniter’ not a ‘divider’

a CHALLENGE to Santorum suporters

Here is a response to a post on a forum where a strong Gingrich supporter issued a challenge saying he would support Santorum IF....

Hello Jefferson Paine, (an obvious pen name)

I'm not a Gingrich hater. He is my definite 2nd choice at this point in the race. He is smart and has often said in the debates, "I agree with Senator Santorum." My admiration for Rick has grown over the course of the campaign. I've watched him handle a hostile press very well. I attended a local rally where the "Occupy" and pro-sodomite crowd tried to shout him down and he handled the situation with grace and dignity. I appreciate the fact that he will not run away from the social issues. If Newt doesn't win in Georgia tomorrow, I hope he will drop out and endorse Rick. You are right in the fact that between the two of them there is enough support to win the nomination rather than going with Mitt. Ron Paul's supporters are very dedicated and many of them I suspect will not vote for anyone if Ron is not on the ballot (a vote for Obama). The old saying goes a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still. I'll give you a few thoughts on your 10 point challenge but not for the purpose of debate.

1) Enumerate, specifically, Santorum's top five Conservative policy accomplishments. (note: votes, rhetoric, platitudes, and speeches are not policy accomplishments)
a. Rick exposed and corrected corruption in Congress when a part of the gang
of seven."
b. Rick was an author and Senate floor manager of the 1996 Welfare Reform Act.
c. Rick authored important anti-terrorist legislation like the Syria
Accountability Act.
d. Rick authored the Iran Freedom and Support Act designed to fight Jihadist
States.
e. Rick served 8 years on the "Armed Services Committee" as a friend to Israel.

2) State Santorum's superior Conservative ratings - such as those published yearly by the ACU.

Rick Santorum has an A+ rating by the NRA. “He was the most effective advocate
of bringing legislation to protect gun companies from frivolous lawsuits to the
floor and getting a vote scheduled. – Wayne LaPierre, CEO – National Rifle
Association

According to the National Taxpayers Union (NTU), during his 12 years in the
Senate, only 6 of the 50 senators got A’s in more than half the years.
Santorum was one of them.

Family Research Council Action supporters and found a wide consensus for Sen.
Rick Santorum as the presidential nominee.

Sen. Santorum placed first with 22,409 votes (76%), followed by former
Speaker Newt Gingrich, who was a distant second with 2,779 votes (9%)[/b],
Rep. Ron Paul[/b] with 2,089 votes (7%),
Gov. Mitt Romney with 1,445 votes (5%), and
"Other" at 737 votes (2%).

3) Name Santorum's top five accomplishments in the private sector.
1. A faithful husband for 21 years and dedicated father of seven children.
2. Rick shoulders all the financial responsibility of a very medically
challenged child without aid from big government or health insurance.
3. Rick authored the 2005 New York Times Best Seller It Takes a Family.
4. Rick comes from a blue collar family back ground in the coal industry.
5. Rick stands firm for his religious convictions and has not changed his
faith.

4) Answer: Why did Santorum, when he ran for the U.S. House, distance himself from Reaganism and describe himself as a "Progressive Conservative"?
1. Probably for the same reason Newt sat on a couch with Pelosi and proclaimed
Al Sharpton a great American leader and FDR as the greatest 20th century
President.

5) Answer: Why did Santorum adamantly support R scumbag Arlen Specter for re-election?

Rick supported Arlen Specter’s Senate reelection bid to ensure that judges who
respect the right to life would not be impeded in their confirmation hearings.
Rick got a commitment from Arlen that no matter who George W. Bush would
nominate, he would support that nominee. This commitment ensured that
conservative pro-life judges John Roberts and Samuel Alito were
confirmed as Supreme Court Justices.

6) Answer: If Santorum is such a staunch conservative, why was he one of Bush's chief lieutentants for advancing "compassionate conservatism"? (i.e. right-wing progressivism)
Rick does not believe it is wrong for conservatives to be compassionate. Do
you? To call this "Progressivism" is to use leftist "straw-man" tactics. They
distort the truth by saying we don't care about the poor, we don't care about
education, we don't care about healthcare, we don't care about racism, etc. etc.

7) Answer: How are Santorum's campaign promises of very tepid tax reform, and crony-capitalist protectionism for "manufacturing" deemed Conservative?
1. Personally, I prefer abolishing the 16th Amendment and replacing the IRS
with the Fair Tax System but... As a Senator, Santorum fought to maintain
fiscal sanity in Washington before it was in fashion, fighting for a balanced
budget and a line item veto. He bravely proposed reforming entitlements,
cutting spending and even developed a "spendometer" that added up the cost
of Democrat amendments to spending bills. This record made him one of the
most conservative senators in Pennsylvania's history.

8) Why does Santorum address Gingrich publicly as "congressman", when he damn well knows the honorary title is "Speaker", while Gingrich addresses father Rick as "Senator"?

Phooie. I believe Rick has called Newt "Mr. Speaker" but even if not, Newt WAS
a congressman. So what? What is with the "father Rick"? Is THAT respectful?
No, it is an attempt to make a red herring out of a man and his faith. Your
choice of language casts doubt about initial statement of "good faith." You
say, " I will support ... if..." Really?

9) Name all of Santorum's prominent Conservative endorsers.
Well for one thing, Rick has very strong grass roots support. His list of
endorsements will continue to grow, especially when Newt drops out.

10) What is Santorum's great Conservative vision for restoring our constitutional republic - along with his track record which makes his rhetoric credible??

Rick has a First 100 days Economic Freedom Agenda referenced on this
website: http://www.ricksantorum.com/truth

Rick became one of the most successful government reformers in our history,
taking on Washington's powerful special interests from the moment he arrived in
our nation's Capitol. It was his record of reform that prompted a Washington
Post reporter to write in a recent article that "Santorum was a tea party kind
of guy before there was a tea party."

Pray for a Preacher in Iran

Dear Christian friends,

We have been asked to forward this email and pray for Pastor Youcef Nadharkani. Please forward using the bcc box so that a list of e-mail addresses is not circulated.

This prayer chain is calling ALL Christians into action NOW on behalf of this Iranian pastor, who faces execution!

Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani never practiced the Muslim faith and converted to Christianity at age 19, becoming a pastor later. But the courts say that since his mother and father were practicing Muslims, he must recant his Christian faith or die. So far, in three court appearances, he has refused to do so - RISKING EXECUTION AT ANY MOMENT. The Iranian Supreme Court often acts quickly in administering the death penalty.

According to a report, when asked by judges to "repent," Youcef replied: "Repent, What should I return to? To the blasphemy that I had before my faith in Christ?"

The judges replied: "To the religion of your ancestors - Islam." To which Yousef replied: "I cannot."

Why you exist...

The rhetoric from the Obama administration has one overriding message

You exist for the sake of the State:

The state will decide how much of your social security retirement account to use for other spending (net effect of reducing your payroll contribution to your SS account)

The state will decide how much of your income you will keep (proposed tax increases)

The state will decide if you make too much so they will take more of your income (proposed surtax on income)

The state will decide how much of your retirement nest egg is theirs (increase in capital gain tax)

The state will decide which business to tax more than others (picking winners & losers)

The state will decide who can get waivers on their new plans (over 200 waivers to Obama Care)

The state will decide how much debt they can pile on your children/grandchildren (Debt over $15 trillion today going to $20 trillion in the next 5 years)

Whatever happened to “Consent of the Governed?”

Here is a copy of a letter I sent my State Senator. You may want to send somethign to your Senator too on this item if you are a responible owner of a firearm.
=====

Dear Senator Conway,

SB 6628 would single out firearms in the Washington statutes and make it a crime if a child obtains access to a loaded firearm that was stored in a location where the person reasonably knows that a child is likely to gain access.

This is already covered in Washington’s Reckless Endangerment statute!

The only reason to push this duplicative law is to demonize firearms in Washington law. Fatal firearm accidents are at an all-time low. If Senator Kline really cared about saving children, rather than trying to exploit a tragedy to attack firearms, he would be targeting poisons, items that suffocate children and objects on which kids choke because all three cause more accidental deaths to children than firearms. But we know that Senator Kline, who sponsored the semi-auto ban two years ago, is only interested in banning firearms and making life miserable for law-abiding gun owners.

This legislation is a knee-jerk response to the tragic shooting of an 8-year old girl by a 9-year old boy at a Bremerton school last week. Rather than go after firearms, Senator Kline might better spend his time going after people like the boy’s mother, whose lengthy criminal record included possession of meth, marijuana delivery and forgery. The boy found the gun, which allegedly belongs to the mother’s criminal boyfriend, during an unsupervised visit to her house.

Senator Kline conveniently ignores the fact that the firearm in question was already illegally possessed by a prohibited person. We're supposed to believe that individuals who knowingly and intentionally committed previous felonies, and whose very possession of a firearm appears to be another felony itself, would obey a safe storage statute?

Senator Kline added a SECOND SECTION to SB 6628, amending the concealed pistol license statute (RCW 9.41.070) to add a $2.00 fee INCREASE to the cost of a CPL. What does reckless endangerment or requirements for firearm storage have to do with CPLs? Absolutely nothing! It is merely an underhanded trick to give life to a bill that had no business being filed in the first place.

Senator Kline allowed HB 1508, the range protection bill, to die in his committee. If Senator Kline is interested in FIREARM SAFETY, how better to do that than correct and pass a bill that ensures firing ranges are available for safe shooting -- and more importantly, where FIREARM SAFETY CLASSES are regularly conducted.

Senator Kline talks about being reasonable but this is an incredibly cynical and brazen attempt to "dance in the blood" of a poor victim to promote Senator Kline's extremist anti-gun agenda.

Please DO NOT SUPPORT SB6628.
